View from the City Palace, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India
The City Palace complex in Udaipur is so ornate there are palaces within the palace. Built in the Indian state of Rajasthan over a period spanning 400 years, the structure includes views of Udaipur, a city known as ‘Venice of the East.’ It was home to generations of rulers, many of whom added their own unique touches. Today it’s a major tourist attraction and served as a filming location for a film in the James Bond series.
