A sunrise like no other

We can't imagine a nicer view to help welcome the new year than this. Today’s serene sight was captured at Mt. Fuji, which aside from being an incredibly popular tourist destination and registered World Heritage Site, has also long been an object of Japanese faith. In fact, many Japanese people used to believe that the god Toshigami appeared with the first sunrise of the year – bringing good luck.
