A floral feast. The cutting edge of garden design
Over the next five days, 157,000 visitors – including the British Royal Family – will flock to the world-famous Chelsea Flower Show in West London as the finest horticulturalists from all over the world exhibit their immaculately-designed gardens. The prestigious flower show, which covers 11 acres and is organised by the Royal Horticultural Society, has been held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea since 1913. The fabulous floral design featured on our homepage was on display during the 2018 event. This year's extravaganza is celebrating the multitude of benefits that gardening has for the health of people and the environment. Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has entered the show for the first time, co-designing a garden based in a woodland setting as a space for families and communities to come together and connect with nature.
