Strike a pose. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week walks into town
It’s time to start embracing your inner Marie Kondo and start clearing some space in your wardrobe because the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is now in full swing, running until May 17. First established in 1996, the event is recognised as the country’s premier fashion and lifestyle platform, Fashion Week brings together the country’s leading designer brands, celebrities and retailers to connect with a global audience. Over 25,000 people will attend the week of runway shows and presentations taking place mostly within Sydney’s Carriageworks - the largest multi-arts centre in Australia. You’ve got a little bit of time, though – the line-up on offer is showcasing the Resort 2020 season, which for those of you not up to date on your fashion jargon (we don’t blame you) refers to the mid-season period in the traditional design calendar which takes place before spring.
