Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Nevada

A drive down this winter road will take you into Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area. Not to be confused with Red Rocks Amphitheater, a popular outdoor concert venue in Colorado, this desert landscape is located just a 30-minute drive from downtown Las Vegas. Here you’ll find dramatic rock formations, sandstone peaks, and maybe even a wild burro or two.
