A must-sea in Atlanta. An inland ocean
When the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta opened in 2005, it was the largest in the world. (It’s now the second largest.) If you’re planning on visiting Atlanta during an American getaway, we recommended checking out the amazing exhibits in the city’s beloved aquarium – perhaps the most prominent of which is the presence of whale sharks. The 23.8 million litre tank that houses more than one whale shark – the world’s largest fish – was such a massive effort, the rest of the building was designed around it.
