Lest we forget. Honour and remember
The iconic red poppy is placed on this memorial wall as a tribute to the brave men and women who have served the country during times of war, conflict and peace. Every year since 1931, at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, Canadians stand to honour and acknowledge those who have fallen and those who continue to serve the country. This year marks 100 years since the end of The First World War.
