Harvest on the harbour. Portland celebrates itself
Portland, a city now known for its artistic and outdoor adventures within the US state of Maine, started out with an economy based heavily on fishing. Over the years, however, it’s built up a bustling service sector as well. The Harvest on the Harbor festival combines these two elements by showing off what local chefs and other food and drink professionals can do with the region’s abundant local foods, especially locally caught lobster.
