Pretty Patagonia
Between the Andes mountain range and the steppes of Patagonia lies Chile's Torres del Paine National Park. The park is nearly 1,000 square miles of glaciated mountain peaks, aquamarine lakes, rivers, and wide valleys. In our image we see the bright blue waters of Lake Pehoé lying below the Paine massif. Walking trails wind through much of the challenging terrain. Hardy trekkers brave the popular 'W,' a five-day hiking circuit that loops around some of the park's most iconic features.
