A spiral in Sydney
If you're not dizzy by the time you reach the top of this hill, the 360-degree view is well worth it. The artificial mound and spiral path are a high point of Sydney Olympic Park, the sprawling complex built for the Australian metropolis' summer hosting stint in 2000. So it's been some time since the park served as the world's epicenter of athleticism, but it's still loved by locals as a great place to jog, swim, birdwatch, disc golf, see public art, enjoy community gatherings, and more.
