Falls in the forest
These spectacular rainforest waterfalls are not far from the small village of Dominical. The Nauyaca waterfalls are said to be the most impressive in Puntarenas province and are a great reason to venture inland from Dominical's famed coastline. What's the buzz on the beach? The town's development from quiet fishing village to backpacker haven, and later to a place where folks strive for a balanced ecology, is an example of how Costa Rica has evolved over the decades.
