Prowling among us?
These wild cats are rare sights due to their stealth and crepuscular habits, but just because you can't see them doesn't mean they aren’t there. The bobcat's home range covers virtually all of the United States, plus most of Mexico and a chunk of Canada. So if you live in North America, there's a good chance that bobcats prowl your backyard—maybe even literally. Though most of them live deep in the wilderness, more and more bobcats make their homes in the woody outskirts of urban areas.
