Located close to Sydney, Bondi is one of the most visited beaches in this surfing-obsessed nation, famed for frequently appearing in films and TV shows. Learn a little Aboriginal Australian and the name makes perfect sense. 'Bondi' is a word that describes foaming waves as they crash on the shore—what English speakers call surf. Of course, 'surf' is also what the enterprising sportsperson in our image intends to do as they strenuously paddle their board past the breaks, hoping for a swift ride back to shore.
