A golden-white tassel-ear marmoset (aka gold-and-white marmoset) and his young in the Amazon Rainforest, Brazil
If you ever hassled your dad like this, at least he got the benefit of an (alleged) day off today. Not so much for the male golden-white tassel-ear marmoset, also known as the gold-and-white marmoset. Family groups of this small Amazonian monkey can be just four members, but many boast a dozen or more extended relatives all living together in the rainforest canopy, looking out for each other and, yes, climbing on dad when the need for a little safety or reassurance is required.
