We’re staying in our sector of the cosmos on Star Wars Day this year, with a visit to Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The space shuttle Atlantis, staged as if in orbit, is a recent addition to the center’s visitor complex, which displays many space vehicles. This photo offers a close look at thrusters and heat-resistant tiles on the nose of the shuttle.
