Giraffe, South Africa
It’s not easy to get eye-to-eye with a giraffe, the world’s tallest land animal. Their legs are taller than most humans, not to mention their elongated necks adding further metres to the towering stature of these noble herbivores. Though giraffes are not considered an endangered species, in some of their native habitats across the savannahs and grasslands of Africa, their populations are in decline.
