Killer whales in Spildra, Norway
Killer whales, also known as Orca whales are at the top of the food chain and are hardcore predators. While orcas possess commendable hunting skills, there have been no documented cases of orcas killing or hunting humans in the wild. Their diet usually includes various types of sea creatures, such as fish, penguins, sharks and even whales. But there is one thing we bet you didn’t know about them. The name ‘killer whale’ is actually quite misleading because killer whales are dolphins and not whales! They were nicknamed as such by Spanish sailors who saw them hunting whales.
