When life imitates art. The Bahamas as seen from the ISS
Taking a tour to Bahamas, one can witness 700 tropical islands and over 2,000 rock formations. Only around 30 of its islands are inhabited. The massive hills under the water’s surface make for striking images when seen from their vantage point high above Earth. These undersea hills, which appear as dark blue coloring in this ocean image, also indicate depths that can reach as far down as 13,000 feet. The Bahamas is an easy photo op for astronauts aboard the International Space Station.
