A mountain goat in Glacier National Park, Montana
The mountain goat is the official symbol of Montana’s Glacier National Park. The park was established this day in 1910. As longer days and warmer temperatures help the alpine meadows recover from winter, the wildflower bloom will arrive and splash even more colour on to the green hills of the park. Seeing them may make you as contented as this goat appears to be.
