Farewell Ma’am. The state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II
Britain bids farewell to its longest-reigning monarch today, as the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II takes place in London’s historic Westminster Abbey. Crowds will line the streets to pay their final respects to the Queen, who died peacefully at her Scottish residence, Balmoral, aged 96 on 8 September, after more than 70 years on the throne.
