VanDusen Botanical Garden
Today we’re visiting VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver, Canada. About 7,500 species and varieties of plants can be spotted here. Visitors are encouraged to take self-guided tours which are updated almost every month, as new plants take the limelight. Pictured here are the laburnum trees in full bloom. Despite requiring little maintenance, these trees can grow fast, adding around 40 centimetres each year. Due to their gorgeous golden arch and walkways, laburnums easily attract visitors to VanDusen Botanical Garden this time of the year. And if you miss their narrow period of full bloom, you could likely take a stroll through the Rhododendron Walk or take in the numerous flowers in vibrant colours spread across the garden.
