No, this is not a set from ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ but a nature reserve in southern California. The California poppy—the official state flower—grows wild along with other native blooms in this nature reserve. And to help preserve the natural ecosystem, the flower fields are not curated in any way, so springtime blooms vary from year to year.
