Info. Saguaro cactuses, Saguaro National Park, Arizona, USA
Saguaro National Park is located in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona in the western United States. The park was established in 1994 to protect the saguaro cactus species and its habitat. The slow-growing, prickly plants can stand over 12 metres tall and live up to 200 years. They may grow their first side arm around 75–100 years of age. Over 50 arms may grow on one plant, but some don't have any arms. Their sharp spines can grow longer than a human finger, so we recommend you look and don't touch.
