Today, we're taking a trip to Amboli, a hill station (a village or town high up in the hills) in Maharashtra, India. Situated 690 metres above sea level, Amboli is nestled in the lush green Western Ghats. The mountain range is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most biodiversity-rich landscapes on the planet. This area is home to many spectacular waterfalls, like the one in our photo. They are a major attraction for tourists, especially during monsoon season.
