Avalanche Creek in Glacier National Park, Montana
With one million acres of rugged, northwestern Montana wilderness to explore, a trip to Glacier National Park could fill up your entire vacation and more. Following Avalanche Creek Trail to get a glimpse of the titular creek, you may want to keep an eye out for warnings about grizzly bear sightings. Earlier this year, several were spotted along the trail. And it might be impossible for anyone to visit the park without seeing Glacier’s mascot: the mountain goat.
