Exploring a natural wonder
Today we’re taking a tour of the Blue Mountains, one of the prettiest spots in western New South Wales, especially when the sun is shining. The stunning Blue Mountains National Park featured today is just the tip of the iceberg, with the wider area being comprised of a million hectares of national park and wilderness.
An spot beloved not just for its stunning geology like 300m sandstone cliffs, waterfalls and canyons galore, but its plentiful supply of unique flora and Aboriginal heritage (including stunning rock art), it’s no wonder why the Greater Blue Mountains area was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2000 in recognition of its significant natural values. We can’t think of a nicer place to watch the sun set. Can you?
