Beauty in bloom
If you’re a flower lover, there’s arguably fewer places as spectacular as Perth’s Kings Park. Known for its rich Aboriginal history (it remains an important ceremonial and cultural place to this day), the 400-hectare inner-city park has a reputation for leading horticulture and conservation around the world. It’s also home to 3,000 species of Western Australia’s unique flora.
By this point in autumn many of Kings Park's flowers have completed their seasonal transformation, however studies have proven that others, like hardier variations of the pansy orchid, can still continue to spring to life during these colder periods. We don’t know about you, but we’d never say no to an extra special dose of colour!
