No that’s not dew that you see on this plant. The Drosera plant’s mucilaginous glands releases moisture drops, which in turn lure and capture insects that it consumes. Yes, this is a carnivorous plant, one of the largest varieties on the planet with 194 species. Commonly known as the sundew plant, it is native to every continent except Antarctica.
