Calm before the storm. Weathering the storm in Provence
Provence, located in south-east France, is an area rich in colour thanks to the multitude of species of flowers and trees that grow throughout the year. Among them, two are particularly distinguished as emblems of the region: the sunflower, which turns its face towards the sun and was famously immortalised by the painter Vincent van Gogh, and lavender, which covers the fields of the high plateaus of Provence in a beautiful deep violet. And today, we offer you both in one image!
