Macro photograph of a migrant hawker dragonfly
One of the smaller species of hawker dragonflies, adult migrant hawkers like this one are usually found near water, where they’ll look for a mate and find plenty of mosquitoes and midges to eat. This photo was taken using macro photography techniques – the camera’s macro lenses get clear images of small subjects like insects and flowers.
