Johnston Canyon in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada
Visit Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada, and you may get some photos like this, too. Johnston Canyon, seen here, features one of the park’s most easily accessed hikes. Given its close proximity to the Trans-Canada Highway, which leads through the park, it’s pretty popular—but not just with humans. It’s also one of the park’s better bird-watching spots, so bring binoculars to look for some of Banff’s winged residents.
