Grand Prismatic Spring at Yellowstone National Park, USA
This is the Grand Prismatic Spring, a hot spring in Yellowstone National Park that spans 370 feet in diameter and reaches depths of 160 feet, making it the largest hot spring in the United States and the third largest in the world, after New Zealand’s Frying Pan Lake and the aptly named Boiling Lake in Dominica. The rainbow of vivid colours is created by heat-loving bacteria that reside in the water.
