Replica of a Viking home in Dublin National Botanic Gardens, Ireland
One of the more recent additions to the National Botanical Gardens in Dublin is this Viking house. This structure was hand-built in 2014 using 11th-century tools and represents what a typical Viking home looked like in this region. The home is roughly 340 square feet, a typical dwelling in Dublin 1,000 years ago.
