This Belgian port town may be best known for its title role in the 2008 comedy-thriller In Bruges, but it's also famous for the charming canals that cut through its modest cityscape. This wide crook in the canals of Bruges, known as Rozenhoedkaai (Rosary Quay), is one of the most popular photo spots in the city centre. But you'll find these watery arteries winding throughout Bruges, one of several European cities casually dubbed "Venice of the North."
