A tale of two lochs

The Gaelic word 'loch' is pretty loose in its use, as the case of Loch Leven illustrates. Or is that Loch Levens, plural? This saltwater inlet in the Scottish Highlands, reflecting the rugged Pap of Glencoe, shares the name Loch Leven with a lowland freshwater lake near the town of Kinross. Hey, sometimes language is less about precision and more about the vibe—and a look at each loch will communicate Scotland's diverse beauty better than words ever can.
