Who left the fridge open?
Looks like Jack Frost nipped this Michigan port's nose extra hard this time. Sharing a roughly 1,000-foot pier with its sister light nearer to shore, the St. Joseph North Pier Outer Light is the first building in town to bear the brunt of Lake Michigan's bracing winds. Luckily, there's no unfortunate icebound lighthouse keeper trapped in there: The lights of 'St. Joe's' were decommissioned in 2005 (and, as the eventual thaw will reveal, beautifully restored in 2008).
