The spire of Segla
The lush inland of Senja, a large island off mainland Norway, is bounded by toothy coastal mountains. None of them make for a better viewpoint than Mount Segla. Its unmistakable, needle-like crag marks the end of a tough but rewarding trail from the fishing village of Fjordgård. Here we get a panoramic view of the mountain-lined bays and fjords that cut into this Arctic isle's northern coastline.
