After changing hands several times in the ensuing centuries, Beaumaris eventually fell into ruin. But today’s visitors likely won't notice anything amiss, as the castle is still impressively looming and large, having been restored beginning in 1925. And as we can see in our image, Beaumaris even comes complete with the requisite medieval moat.
