A tale of two Jacks

Though it's really a humble arm of the much larger Lake Minnewanka, this body of water is so nice they named it…well, not twice, but after two different folks. Two Jack Lake was named in 1959 in honor of two late local celebrities: Jack Watters, once a bigwig at the local coal mine, and 'Captain Jack' Stanley, who ran a boat concession on the lake. Its placid surface presenting a perfect reflection of Mount Rundle, Two Jack is a great alternative destination if you wish to dodge the crowds of nearby Lake Louise and Moraine Lake.
