In this spot 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean, the views can steal your breath even faster than the wind steals your hat. These are the Cliffs of Moher, one of the most popular tourist stops on Ireland's west coast. That's partly because they're only about an hour's drive from Shannon Airport, one of the nation's top international hubs. But even those who fly into Dublin, the capital clear across the island, find the sight well worth the trip. Visitors willing to pay admission for a few extra feet of elevation can head up O'Brien's Tower in our image's center, which has stood at the cliffs' apex since 1835.
