Columbia lilies on Hurricane Ridge, Olympic National Park, Washington
July 8, 2016. We’ve made it to the northwest corner of the contiguous United States for Week 6 of our national parks summer road trip. Olympic National Park, located on Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula, boasts a temperate rainforest, rocky coastline, alpine meadows, and Hurricane Ridge, a steep slope just 15 miles from the nearby town of Port Angeles.
Let us know on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, where we'll be posting regular updates on our national parks road trip. And don't forget to check back on the Bing homepage each Friday to see our favorite photo from the park we’ll be visiting that week.
