A journey through Elk Valley in the Kootenay region of British Columbia will take you through the Canadian Rockies, starting from the Southwestern Alberta border and winding down near the border of Montana. Along the way, you might enjoy fly fishing on the Elk River or take a break in the towns of Elkford and Elko (and yes, you may even encounter an elk or two).
