Stack Rocks at Castlemartin on the Pembrokeshire coastline, West Wales
The quaint Welsh village of Castlemartin sits on the coastline of Pembrokeshire, which consists of spectacular limestone cliffs, natural arches and stacks. These two detached pillars of limestone rising steeply from the sea are known as Stack Rocks or Elegug Stacks. They are named after the guillemots ('elegug' in Welsh) which nest here along with other seabirds including razorbills, fulmars and kittiwakes, so don't forget to bring your binoculars.
