This is how Sydney residents—and television viewers around the country—enjoy the first day of 2017. Australia’s not the first populated area on Earth to shout “Happy New Year!” at the stroke of midnight, but we’re certainly close to the top of the list. Here in Sydney, fireworks explode over the Harbour Bridge to celebrate the end the old year and the start of the new. How will you celebrate New Year’s Eve?
