As December approaches, New York gears up for a sparkling spectacle. Mark a big star on your calendar for November 29 because the 91st Rockefeller Centre Tree Lighting will bring you festive vibes. The towering Norway spruce, as seen, is adorned with over 50,000 multicoloured LED lights and topped with a Swarovski crystal star. Just wait until the giant tree—up to 30 metres high—is illuminated; it is a full-blown extravaganza with musical performances and celebrity sightings.
In Canada, Toronto's Cavalcade of Lights has cast its own spell since 1967, illuminating Nathan Phillips Square with a spectacular display. The grand official tree, boasting a canopy of radiant lights, takes centre stage as fireworks burst overhead. The mesmerising glow of these trees marks the official arrival of the holiday season, and you definitely don't want to miss it!
