Aye aye, captain!. Container ship near a port in Thailand
The sea is a wild and chaotic place to work, especially with approximately 80% of all countries having access to the ocean or an ocean-accessible sea. While the ocean plays a vital global role in trade, the survival of many species on Earth, including our own, depends on it remaining a healthy place.
As the morning sun cast its glow upon the waters of the Gulf of Thailand, one can’t help but notice the immense presence of a massive container ship emerging on the horizon. The towering cargo containers, filled with an array of goods, were meticulously organised on their deck. These remarkable vessels, often underestimated by those who don't spend time along the coastlines, play a role in facilitating trade and greatly contribute to the nation's prosperity.
