Dad on duty. Father's Day
Father's Day is a beautiful occasion celebrated each year on the third Sunday of June. It is a day to honour and appreciate not just fathers but also father figures who have left an indelible impact on our lives with their love. Although the exact origins of Father’s Day in Canada are debatable, it is believed that the celebrations began around the same time as the United States, which is in the early 20th century. Our father figures, much like the common tern papa in today's image, work hard to provide us with support and guidance. Both tern parents build the nest and incubate the eggs.
