Grand Cul de Sac is a beautiful bay located on the island of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean. The bay is bordered by lush mangroves and offers breathtaking views of the turquoise sea. Water activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, diving and kitesurfing are particularly popular here. The island is part of the National Nature Reserve of the Grand Cul de Sac Marin, which covers more than 15 square kilometres. This protected area is home to many species of fish, crustaceans and corals, as well as sea turtles and manatees. There is a unique species of crab called the 'violin crab' which gets its name from the shape of its claw, which resembles a violin.
