Most photos of Lake Powell highlight the reservoir, created by the construction of Glen Canyon Dam, and its fluctuating water levels. But this photo’s focus on the sky above the lake—not to mention that flash of lightning—is as much a part of the amazing scenery here as the rugged sandstone landscape of the region.
