Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve, Quebec
The Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve is located in eastern Quebec and is known to encompass several islands spanning from the east to the west. Visitors are drawn to this national park for its unique limestone sculptures. The sedimentary rock formations date at least 500 million years resulting in a diverse ecosystem of flora and fauna. This time of the year is probably amongst the best time to visit the park as marine birds such as puffins and razorbills can be spotted forming nesting colonies.
